May I state that whats being said here about firefox can be said about chrome aswell! You can also get loads of add-ons for chrome. Not to forget that the GUI of chrome and firefox are exactly the same. And you may state chrome is the best I prefer firefox for some reason its been always faster on my comp than chrome and yes Ive tried both. I also tried safari and I rly dont understand why peeps still use it. About opera, yea quite nice got nothing bad to say about it rly they also have a great android app!

What about Internet Explorer you say ? Its like cancer for your pc.

"Standard Plan: 5Mbps down for $50/month. No commitments. No limits. No caps. No throttling. No tricks."

Total lie. I use this "standard plan" and I get throttled by the mid/end of the month every month.

Commspeed is the worst. I've had them for several years now because they are (were?) the fastest broadband available where I live. For the first year they were good, but as it is today I can't get a reliable ping from 6am to midnight. The tech support and management are completely unwilling to do anything to fix the problems and continually promise it will get better after the "new equipment" is installed. I am eagerly awaiting a fiber optic line to be completed in my area so I can upgrade. Considering their track record I would never recommend Commspeed to anyone.

You can't be serious. Legally, at the very least, piracy != theft. I think we all know the media industry in the U.S. is doing fine. But the actually debate on the moral standing of piracy is had all over the internet; so, whatever, we're on different sides there.

But, all the catch-phrases and PSA-style-moralizing honestly make it hard to believe you aren't somehow being paid to put this out there. I guess noobs need to watch out for all those l33t haXXors pushing their wareZ out in the back of the interwebz with their digital coke etc.

This is the most informative article I have ever read. Pirates really are thieves. In reality, pirates are losers, and they sound like a bunch of pot-heads full of stupid justifications.

Maybe I'm being a little extreme, no? I wish more people like you were out there telling it like it is. 99% of the time, people just write BS about DRM, etc. I hate pirates. What are they? 11 years old? You clearly understand the big picture when it comes to piracy, DRM, and watermarking. Those other media-whores have no place writing the disgraceful pieces of garbage like the ones I usually read.

Not to mention that most of them sound like peace-love-dope propagandists from the 60's convincing the world that people who download Britney Spears mp3s are really helping the world economy and putting billions of dollars back into the hands of the people (so they can buy more pot). They should all lose their jobs and see how it feels. It's pathetic.

CableOne used to be awesome! No down time except for maybe 3am on Sunday mornings (probably maintenance). Now, nearly every night I experience major lag and packet loss. I don't mind if they can't provide 50 Mbps all the time, but don't drop my packets that often. Completely ruins the whole experience.

Bulleri networks became Bolt Internet and they have taken a dive. They blow even worse than they did then. Good luck trying to get any legit thing u want to do on their network to work. Once my contract is up, Im switching to Cable One.

Peter of the Multiple Certs (POMC) sounds defensive, but he agrees (and so do I). None of these (certifications) really tells what you know. They merely get you a ticket in the door". This dilemna has been going on since the great Trojan Horse escapade. The guards in HR are often simple-minded folks and only know how to check for credentials or verify the package is gift wrapped. Personally, I have had an argument against degrees and certifications of _any_ kind since the age of 2 - not that it has done me any good. I'm a computer genius, myself, but I've never gotten promoted out of the mail room. After my 70th birthday I finally decided I'd go the certificate route, hoping it might improve my career options. Wish me luck. Cheers

If you do not like the 50 Mbps plan, you CANNOT go back to your previous plan. If you currently have the CableOne 10Mbps service and decide to go with 50 service, then want to go back to 10, all CableOne will let you do is go back to 5Mbps. The 10M service will no longer be an option. All current 10M customers are grandfathered in.

I wasn't originally going to say this: I don't have cable or satellite TV. I exclusively watch my TV using Hulu Plus, Netflix, and Zune. I also have two Xbox 360's and play games online frequently. My wife also has her technology like the Android phone, etc. I don't use more than 50GB/month, but it is close.

However, this may not be for everybody. Someone who runs an online backup program like Mozy and is constantly uploading would exceed the limit. Or people who download/upload torrents would go way past the limit. Or a photographer who's sending and receiving lots of large images would definately go over the limit.

That's why CableOne is letting people try it and if they go over they can revert back to whatever they had previously. No harm, no foul. People can also check how much bandwidth they use on their CableOne account page.
